The Friench Simpson Memorial Library Advisory Board is a department of the City of Hallettsville, operated by the Director of Library Services and administered by the Hallettsville City Council.

The Advisory Board serves to advise the Friench Simpson Memorial Library on matters pertaining to:

• Development of immediate & long-range policies & programs.
• The annual proposed budget as established by Library administration.
• Improvement & expansion of Library services & facilities.
• Any other matters determined by the Director of Library Services.
